Church School

This year's church school program began on Sunday, September 27, 2009. There will be two classes that will meet immediately after our youth and teachers have received communion. There are two classes meeting Pre-K/Early Elementary class, and a Later Elementary/Middle School class. The education theme this year continues to be: "The Baptized, Chrismated, Eucharistic Life." Jessica Pappas and Karen Beleny will be the main people responsible for the two classes. Atttempts are being made to form a high school youth group to meet during the course of the year. Please see weekly bulletins for announcements.

Book Club

The Rossford/Toledo Book Club meets on Mondays at 10 AM at St. George in Rossford. The Bowling Green Book Club meets every other Thursday at Grounds for Thought on Main St. in Bowling Green at 6:30 PM. Both groups are reading the book, Bread & Water, Wine & Oil: An Orthodox Christian Experience of God by Fr. Meletios Webber. A limited number of copies (10) have been purchased at a discount race that you will be able to buy for $10.00 through our church bookstore.
